Nicole Mamo, director of Devonwood Recruitment in the UK, was told she could not use the phrase “reliable and hard working” in her help wanted ad, because it could be offensive to unreliable people.

If You Thought Political Correctness Was Out of Control Here…
Thursday, January 28th, 2010There Are No More “Illegal Immigrants” in the U.S.
Monday, November 30th, 2009I don’t use the term “illegal immigrants”, because it’s inaccurate. Immigrants are honest, hardworking people who paid the fees, went through a ton of paperwork, did a lot of work, and passed the test to become a U.S. citizen. The earned the right to be an American. Those who come here illegally are not immigrants, they’re illegal aliens who cut in line in front of others and cheat the system.
But I heard today that an internal memo at Homeland Security has now relabeled Illegal Aliens as “Recently Arrived Asylum Seekers”.

Politically Correct Water Faucets
Thursday, August 13th, 2009Perhaps I’m dirtier than everyone else, but I can’t get the soap rinsed off my hands with those motion-activated water faucets that automatically cut off. I actually timed three of them in the men’s room of a new building in New York today. Two of them ran for 10 seconds, which was okay, though it took m two 10-second cycles to rinse. But one of them only ran for 3 seconds before it cut off. Am I the only person who finds this ridiculous?
When Did Drugs Become More Unacceptable Than “GD”?
Saturday, April 26th, 2008Speaking of the media, when did “GD” become acceptable? I remember when Charlie Daniels released The Devil Went Down to Georgia in the seventies and had to re-record the line “I’ve done told you once, you son of a b****, I’m the best there’s ever been” to “…you son of a gun”.
When Nickelback released their hit single “Rockstar” in 2005, there was a line that went “The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap”. Radio stations bleep out the words “drugs” when they play the song.
But I’ve noticed recently that network television now allows “God ****” uncensored. Hmmmmmmmmm. They don’t want God in Christmas, but it’s okay with them to take His name in vain, which happens to be one of the things forbidden in the Ten Commandments. Guess it’s no exaggeration to say that Hollywood really is Godless.
