Earlybird Tickets to the ACM Awards with Reba McEntire

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Everyone seems to think that because I live in Nashville, I automatically get free tickets to every country music event, but it just isn’t so. But if you’re a country music fan and want to attend the ACM Awards (which are in Vegas, not Nashville), the earlybird tickets go on sale tomorrow. Click here:

A Movie You HAVE to See

Saturday, December 26th, 2009

I have a problem with most movies these days. Although I’ve come to pretty much expect the gratuitous sex, violence, and profanity in most movies for adults, the plot lines are so complex that I feel like I need a note pad to keep up with all the characters. For years, I’ve wondered why Hollywood can’t make a few films a year that:

A. Adults and kids can both watch and enjoy
B. Don’t make me have to work so hard to follow
C. Are actually entertaining

“Blindside” is one of them, based on a true story that happened here in Tennessee.

You gotta see this one.
