Here’s an interesting statistic. Researchers who studied marriages that have lasted over 50 years found that “The Secret” is not that they didn’t have bad times. Instead, it was simple math. For each negative interaction (arguments, criticism, etc.) there were five positive interactions (a hug, a kiss, a compliment, etc.). Go figure.
